V121 - STRATEGIC


Adding a new flavour of gameplay to the campaign: Strategic mode swaps the normal, quite unlimited game rules out for a very restricted experience. All unit production needs Artifact charges, and most buildings are disabled. Every mission is turned into a little puzzle this way, requiring good scouting and a good plan to make it through.
The old campaign style is still available, that flavour is called Fast.
Missions have been readjusted so that hopefully the learning curve in Strategic mode is enjoyable.
Other changes:
- Fixed a bug with AoE damage affecting too large of a radius, especially noticeable on Jugglernauts
- UI improvements: Added options for coloured unit frames, and others
- The default amount of charges on Artifacts may also be configured for multiplayer matches
- It is possible to set Artifact charges to infinite, which causes them to have 500 HP and spawns to never consume charges. Disables the Hyperboost option.
- Conquest and Invasion modes have also been adjusted to the new concept: Depending on the difficulty, Artifact charges are now required to spawn units. The player always starts with a single generic Artifact to power the initial spawns.
- Unit tweaks: Team Ambush and Pumpkins should have better attack-animation fit
